In addition to cameras and a recorder, this system includes a power plugs, a power distribution box, and siamese BNC cable (power and video cables).
Wiring Difficulty level : Cheaper but significantly harder than the Networker series. Compare wiring
This system uses a technology called TVI. TVI allows you to use your old analog BNC cable with HD cameras, and to replace your old analog cameras without without having to rewire. TVI is backwards compatible with analog cameras. NVRs and IP cameras, like the Networker Series, are future proof and use Cat5e cable. You should only use TVI if you already have run BNC cable. TVI replaces analog, CVI, and TVI technologies, however the industry is still transition to IP cameras and Cat5 cable. You eventually have to rewire.
