The bullet cameras in this CCTV system package have powerful infrared LED bulbs and in certain indoor environments, this will cause a washout in video. We have included dome cameras with the ability to see in low light conditions in color, however, in the event that total darkness exist, the domes cameras in this packages have a decent amount infrared technology to ensure their is video. The infrared lights in these cameras will not be too powerful and should render good black and white video. We do not recommend shooting infrared dome cameras indoors, where there are massive windows, reflective surfaces, or shooting outside with an infrared dome camera outdoors, this will certainly cause your video to washout! 16 Channel CCTV Systems May Need Two Power Supply Boxes

If you have a CCTV system you are building and there are going to be some high powered infrared security cameras integrated, you need to add up or figure out what kind of amperage you are dealing with! The power supply boxes that are in these setups will have 18 channels of power available, however, there are only 18 amps of power. That means there is 1 amp per channel of power. If you have one or two cameras that require more than 1500 milli-amps then you will have to figure out the math and make sure you have enough amps to power the rest of your cameras. Also is all your cameras you want exceed the 18 amp output, then you need to invest into a second power supply box to support the right cameras with the right amperage. If you fail to do this, then you are risking the durability and operability of your security cameras. You can under power and over power your security cameras. These 16 channel systems have been configured and matched so that you have exactly what you need for a sucessful setup.
