Sony PTZEX803 Product Description
This is our a step up from our 10X optical zoom security cameras. This model PTZ camera is equipped
with a 3.9 to 85.8mm varifocal lens. The range of this lens is rated at 23X optical zoom. This is about
250 yards of zooming distance. The camera also has an additional 10X digital zoom, which enables you to focus
in on more specific targets. The camera has a built in heater and blower, this protects the brain of the camera
in very hot or cold environments. The housing that shields the camera from rain is a die-cast metal construction
heavy duty housing. It has a 128 preset positions that let you set review points that can be accessed at the click
of a button. The chip-set in this camera is a 1/4" Sony Super HAD CCD sensor. The sensor has the special ability to
see color video in low-light conditions. The lux on this camera is rated at 0.003 without the monochrome IR filter
cutting in. This makes this camera a
day/night security camera. The monochrome IR filter cuts in at 0.0005 lux. So you will have color in the worst lighting conditions. Even in the dark it can display a darker
color image. It has a full 360 degree pan range and the mounting style will allow you to survey and site or complex. We have

or equipment yards.
Sony PTZEX803 Camera Performance
This security camera's 23X optical zoom will let you see out to about 250 yards. This is very far, that is like
two and a half football fields. The camera also an additional 10X zoom, which gives you a more focal view on particular
target areas or objects. The camera has a 1/4" Sony Super HAD CCD chip-set. This chip-set is set to produce 480 TV lines
of resolution. The camera is capable of of seeing in color in very low conditions. It has a lux of 0.003. This is
very good and when there is absolutely no light this camera's monochrome filter cuts in and displays a black and white
image at 500 TV lines. The 128 preset positions will give you the quick performance you need to enable fast surveying
of a situation. This empowers a user to act quickly when a situation arises in a target space, restricted areas, or
to eliminate having to manually pan and zoom the camera. It is a great feature for CCTV applications that have hi
volume traffic.
Sony PTZEX803 Camera Mounting Instructions
The mounting bracket that comes with this model is a wall-mounting-bracket. It has a cable management,
which allows you to run cable in a very neat, tidy, hidden, and professional manner. The bracket is industrial strength
and has been coated to protect from rust. You can also change the
mounting bracket to fit or convert to a new setup. There is the possibility to use a pole-mount, ceiling mount, and jook-hook mount.
