Sony PTZEX57W Product Description
Similar to our Sony PTZE56W, this PTZ camera has a high powered zoom. It's lens
is rated at 36X optical zoom. It has a 12X digital zoom, which gives the PTZ camera a total of
432X zoom. This is serious zooming power. At full zoom, this camera can see out to 450 yards. It is the
absolute longest distance you can get from a camera on the CCTV market. The chip-set on board is a
1/4" Progressive Scan Sony CCD chip-set. There is not much difference in options from any of the
other PTZ cameras, it just sees farther. If you have a very unique CCTV application, where you need
to see really far, then this the camera you need. It provides the easy of scanning of an area instead of
dealing with a varifocal security camera that you have to get on a ladder to change
the zooming distance.
