    Remotely Connecting To Your DVR

We have a few different DVRs you can remotely connect to virtually from anywhere. In fact, all of our DVRs can do that. We have both PC based DVRs and standalone DVRs that have the same technology. There are a few steps that you must go through that will eventually have you checking your DVR from at anytime. This is more geared towards the iPhone but if you can monitor your system from a laptop and a desktop too. You will need an IP address, we suggest using no-IP.com as a cheap way to get an address for your DVR. We have used them for many of our own DVRs, which we broadcast our DVR demos online. All of our DVRs listed above have manuals and they give good instructions on how to setup the networking features. Of course we offer one year technical support on all of our DVRs, so if you do buy one and get lost call our technical support line.

Use Your DVR's Remote Connection Software To Keep An Eye On Everyone

There are so many applications that you can develop when you have successfully setup your remote connection features and cellphone software. We have seen applications for residential homes, small businesses, and even in many government environments. The most common now are residential homes. There is an explosion of home owners now that want the ability to see what is going on around or inside their homes. Typical situations we see are home owners that do not trust their teenagers and they want to be able to watch them. Some parents just want to see if there kid has returned home from school okay. It is nothing like good old peace of mind. We expect many home owners to have applications where it boils down to a trust factor with many people. Here are just some examples of typical people you might want to keep an eye on:: baby sisters, repairmen, neighbors, children, their spouses, pets and many others. The information is very powerful. We also tell many of our potential customers to be ready for the data that they are going to see. In fact, it may be uncomfortable information, but it is always better to know your daily routine without shades of gray.
