C-mount Housings With Heater and Blowers Need 24AC Voltage

C-mount housings with heaters and blowers need a special power supply in order to work. The heater and blower was designed to allow your security cameras to work in either cold weather or very hot temperatures. You need to make sure that if you are going to choose a housing like this that you know what your environmental conditions are going to be. After installing the housing and the camera, you will need to run the power from the housing with a 24AC power adapter. If you do not have a power outlet location nearby then you will need a 24AVC power supply box, that runs independent of any other 12DCV security cameras. Do not try and run c-mount camera housing with a heater and blower. If you are uncomfortable with running a standard 18x2 power run along with your video cable, get a professional electrician or local independent contractor that is licensed to handle installing and running CCTV cable and terminating connections. Nevertheless, if you are going to use a c-mount camera outside, make sure you purchase a heater and blower and a 24ACV power supply distribution box.

You Will Need A C-mount Hosing Bracket To Hold The Housing

As you may have noticed c-mount housings do not come with brackets. You need to have a mounting bracket in order to hold up the camera, housing, and weight of the heater and blower. The brackets are weather resistant along with the housing. Make sure you visit our security-camera-brackets before you check out.

We Sell Separate Heater and Blower Parts For C-mount Housings

If you have a damaged heater and blower housings, we do have spare heaters and blowers. This part needs to be installed when everything is completely turned off. The part requires the knowledge of a electrician and or installer. There is a risk that something could go wrong, please make sure you know what you are doing before you try to mount the housing. The great thing here is that there you can salvage your housing or turn your non-cmount camera housing into a housing with heater and blower capabilities. If you need help, there is technical support from us on anything that you buy.
