The technology was developed to help end-users install and run CCTV cable. A video balun's main purpose is to strengthen video signal over long security camera cable runs. Typically running video over 500 feet requires a strong signal, and that where video baluns really shine. Clarity in video feeds are the main goal of any CCTV project, and one should never miscalculate when figuring out your cable runs. Centralize Power To Your CCTV Cams

If you are wondering how how far the cord from the factory power supply will reach, then you need to rethink your organization. The factory power supplies are suppose to let you test the cameras. Small CCTV applications, such as dome cameras watching a single room, will not need to centralize their power supplies, however, if you need to mount a camera outdoors, where power outlets are rare, then look at a power supply box. We have nine to eighteen channel power supplies. Some are DC, and we have a few AC boxes too. We also have power supply boxes with fuses and ones without fuses.
