The 1/4" Sony Super HAD CCD sensor produces a resolution of 420 TV lines. It has a very wide range of varifocal adjustment.
The lens ranges from 3.9mm to a 85.8mm. The 1/4" chip-set is the most appropriate chip-size for this type of lens. In fact,
most lens with a range this wide typically do not fit well with larger size chip-sets. The main performance in this model
c-mount camera is it's ability to zoom in and out to meet the demands of a security application that changes from time to time.
It takes no effort at all to re-adjust to new zoom and focus settings. Every setting is conveniently located on the back of the
camera. This camera works best indoors. It has a lower lux than some of our base models and will provide a clear, crisp, and
sharp video feed indoors.
SONY CMZ22N Camera Mounting Instructions
This model mounts from the top or bottom. You can use a standard
c-bracket to mount from the ceiling. This is to be used indoors only. If you need an outdoor solution you will need a
CB-bracket, to mount the weight of the
housing and the camera. These are the only two ways you can mount this camera. There are other c-mount styles, but that becomes a more custom solution.
