SONY CMR918 Product Description

This camera has style, power, and longevity. We imported this c-mount security camera on a chance and it turns out be a great selling camera. It has a more eclectic style, which would fit nicer than some of our other low lux c-mount cameras. Although it has the same internals as our basic LTCMB913, except this model can see color in tougher lighting conditions. It will need see in total darkness, but it's 1/3" Sony CCD chip-set will generate 420 TV Lines. It also has all the other integrated options you need to adjust this c-mount camera to the right lighting conditions.

SONY CMR918 Camera Performance

Sony CMR918 has some of the same integrated circuits as our model CMR603T. It has a 1/3" Sony chip-set, which produces a 420 TV line image. Although it does not see as well as the CMR603T, it offers you the ability to have some low light seeing ability. The lux on this camera is 0.1. It will work better indoors with good lighting. This security camera cannot work outside without a c-mount housing. This camera works best in small business offices, banks, federal government offices, and schools. It comes at a good price and it has all the optional controls to set this model security camera to any lighting situation. Great camera, great price!

SONY CMR918 Camera Mounting Instructions

You can mount this camera a number of ways! You can use a standard c-bracket to mount from the ceiling. This is to be used indoors only. If you need an outdoor solution you will need a CB-bracket, to mount the weight of the housing and the camera. These are the only two ways you can mount this camera. There are other c-mount styles, but that becomes a more custom solution.
