New External Solar Power Supply

Wednesday, March 10th, 2010

solar-pwr0150big

Remember the post we had about a year ago (for our regular readers), where we started to see solutions for PTZ cameras that were powered by solar technology? Well we finally have the parts in our warehouse that will allow anyone that has a unique application to have power where there are no outlets. The setup and protection of the equipment is where your fabrication comes in. We have the solar panel and the re-charge battery. The way this thing works, is it uses and stores power for your security camera at the same time. The battery is charged during the day, which allows for you to be able to have power in the night. Very neat! It has a built in voltage display that let’s you know how much you currently have, great for monitoring in test fields. It has 150 milli-amp max output and it has 8Ah @ 12 volts battery. You can input up to 17 amps max. At this setups full capacity it can support up to 8 hours of power for 17 amps. Not bad! So if you have a unique application, where you physically cannot run power, without spending a ton of money, then this is the solution you need. We have it listed for sale starting at just $499 and it is under our cctv power supplies accessories sub-menu. If you have more questions about how this product works, give a call on our 800 line and talk to a CCTV consultant today.

ISC WEST Show Coming UP!

Sunday, March 7th, 2010

Picture 6

ISCW WEST is around the corner! We are trying to figure out if we are going to go. We are looking to grab new price list and manufacture info. We might show up on the sales floor and see what’s new in the industry, however, it is still really unnecessary at this point for us. We have a lot of things we need to do. We have many different bullet camera cameras, c-mount cameras, dvrs and accessory items to get up on our website and in our database. We have many educational topics and content that need to be uploaded. Our goal is to become the experts in the industry. There are many vendors and suppliers ready to sell it, we want to be there to examine it and distribute them to customers with unique applications. So as the week approaches, we have 5 days to decide. We really want to go, but it will come down to a five day decision for us. We have many customer’s that need support and help with their applications, and we are still growing and are a little short staffed. The recession is not making things easier for us, but we are adapting to the changes we need to make to build our brand. We want to make sure that we get the basics taken care of before we jump into things that will just set us back. So if we do not make this show, we have time to make a name for our self and show up at the right time. Until then, we have product manuals, technical support manuals to make and upload for our customers and future customers to the store. We will in the future report our attendance and location so that we can meet face to face with our customer and audience. Thanks for your patience.

New PDF Manuals & Product Adobe PDF Documents Online!

pdf-icon

So we have been working on a new section to our website (among other sections like technical support, online demos, etc) where you can download each of our manuals and product specification pdf files. This is a great, because whether you are in the market for some CCTV surveillance security cameras, security dvrs, or even accessory items, we have organized everything by category. We will be working on this for next six months or so. It will take some time, as this is something we have decided to do, after we have loaded our website with many different products. However we are committed to making our website the central focus for CCTV products. This section is very ambitious but we can do it. If you loose a manual then you can download these pdf files and save them to your desktop for future reference. Each guide/pdf document has the product specifications and set of instructions and operational instructions on how to properly use the device. Again, if something you see on the site does not have a pdf file, then call our 800 line and talk to a tech about emailing you a copy of the product that you are interested in. We are still holding on to our New Year’s resolution of bringing more information, usability, and higher quality security cameras and digital video recorders.

New Infrared Security Cameras In Stock

Thursday, February 11th, 2010

infrared-c-mount-camera

So we are still committed to our new year’s resolution of having new and high quality items to the warehouse. We have new c-mount security cameras coming to our c-mount cameras section. In fact, the picture above reflects the quality of c-mount cameras we will have. It is really rare to find high resolution c-mount cameras with infrared technology. But make no mistake, these cameras are really the absolute best quality cameras we sell. They have resolution at 600 TV Lines and feature high performance SONY SUPER HAD CCD chip-sets and it’s these chip-sets that make for the resolution in the industry. We were slacking in this department big time, but we cleaned up our act and now we have a complete selection coming and it should be complete by next week. If you have an application where you are considering c-mount cameras, take a look at our selection, or call our 800 line and speak to a CCTV consultant about your project today.

New 550 TV Line Color Varifocal Bullet Camera

Monday, February 8th, 2010

SONY-CMRV49-520big

Look at this new day/night bullet security camera! It has a lot of performance for such a small security camera. We added three new color only bullet security cameras, but this one is the very best of the three. It has a 1/3″ SONY Super HAD CCD chip-set and it has Sony’s EX-VIEW technology, which helps the camera render video in very low light conditions or in total darkness. The camera also has a 4mm to 9mm vari-focal lens that helps you change the distance and field-of-view to achieve the right video shot. Usually you see this type of technology on an infrared bullet camera. This camera is different it has all the abilities that an infrared bullet camera has except it cannot see in total darkness using infrared technology. Some people argue that infrared cameras are better, however, this one surprisingly fairs the same. The best thing about this new camera is that it has all these advantages and it is still small enough to be unnoticeable to the eye. In fact, it is so small that it can fit into the palm of your hand. You can find this camera on the Internet going for $199 or $299, we have it listed at a discount of just $180 dollars with a one-year warranty. This is a great bullet camera for residential and small business applications. Check out our other bullet cameras and find the camera that best fits your CCTV needs.
